Fielder Capital Group seeks an experienced professional to join our growing firm. You would work alongside our tight-knit team from our office in a modern building in Nashville’s booming Gulch. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute trading in individual equities, fixed income, ETFs, funds, and other securities

  • Operate and optimize software solutions for trading and portfolio management 

  • Maintain asset allocation models for client portfolios 

  • Monitor and improve processes for cash transfers, trading, and rebalancing

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and scalability

  • Research specific investments and asset managers (public and private) across asset classes

  • Conduct due diligence, including interviewing managers, analysts, and company executives

  • Create, maintain, and manage detailed due diligence files and records

  • Prepare materials for client presentations

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Presently residing in Nashville, TN

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, mathematics, or other analytical field 

  • Proficiency in basic finance skills (financial modeling, accounting, etc.)

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success working in financial services

  • Strong sense of urgency and adaptability

  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills

  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills

  • Strong skills in Excel and quick learner of new software/systems

  • Strong communication skills in both written and oral form

  • History of working well independently and within teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with an RIA or broker-dealer

  • Experience with Orion Advisor software and Eclipse

  • CFA candidate/charter-holder, one or a combination of the Series 7, 63, 65, 66
